Ok wow phew I just finished a 16-foot-long, 4-foot-tall painting, a phantasmagorical landscape for a phenomenal couple who commissioned a view from their newly rebuilt home destroyed in the Thomas Fire.
It's the biggest piece I've ever done and I'm really happy with it (I guess? I get lost inside all those textures and patterns and colors and now have no idea about "good" and "bad" - I'm art drunk). It's too big to photograph very well, but here's a few close-ups.
Come to my studio this weekend and see the whole thing for yourself! This will be the only semi-public viewing before it goes off to its new happy home in the hills. I'll also have HALF-PRICE FRAMED PRINTS (special OSA clearance sale!) and new original framed acrylics and maybe a few nesting dolls. Plus tangerines and Cheese-Its and an excitable goldendoodle. Fun!
Open Sunday and Monday - come out for an amazing weekend art adventure.
