A few years ago, I ran out of young children in my family to paint: No babies, no toddlers, no teenagers. Then it hit me--They’ve all grown up! So, now I needed to get started on a series about the ‘men in my life,’ painting them all over again.
I began two years ago, and I am now done (except for one relative) and I’ll have the ‘men’ on display in my open studio on Foothill Rd. all day on Saturday May 11th.
I will also show my recently painted cymbidiums-- given to me this Spring by the masterful gardener who grew them!
You may also browse the many prints and drawings in my collections.
And, finally come the piece de resistance! I am displaying a 6-foot canvas “work-in-progress" which I began last month, and may or may not (get it?) finish it by the 11th.
