Yolanda Bergman: Spring! Blooms! Colors!

After a refreshing rain, the landscape of Ojai, California, undergoes a vibrant transformation. The most captivating element is the flourishing bloom that covers every corner of the landscape. The once dry and sun-kissed earth becomes a lush tapestry, as nature awakens in a chorus of colors and textures. Every plant seems to reach for the sky, grateful for the nourishing rain it received.

The air is crisp, and the landscape feels alive, bringing forth a sense of hope and rejuvenation. These emotions translate into my mosaic art, where I strive to capture the vibrant life and exuberance of Ojai. In my artwork, she aims to reflect the joy she feels, using colors and patterns that evoke the same sense of happiness and vitality.

I am doing a series of dragonflies and hummingbirds for my open studio tour in June because they capture that joy.
