Leslie Plimpton: Really Fun Fact

Here is a really fun fact about my studio. Did you know that my studio was designed by one of the other OSA artists? Can you guess which one? Well, if you guessed Marc Whitman, the award-winning architect in Ojai, you would be right! Not only has Marc designed some of the most beautiful homes in Ojai and beyond, but he is an accomplished painter on the Ojai Studio Artists tour! And I am incredibly lucky that I was able to have him design my and my husband, Joseph Sohm's studio.

You can visit my studio on the upcoming Second Saturday OSA Tour on April 12th from 10-5pm and see the wonderful architectural work that Marc did. But I hope you will also come to see my artwork that is hung throughout my side of the studio. I have a great deal to show you., including my new printmaking press! Marc will also be on the tour and his place and artwork are definitely worth checking out.
