Patrish Kuebler: Even Magic takes time!

I've been working on this Encaustic piece for months! This medium is so fun to work with, but precise painting with hot beeswax and resin is a challenge.
The first picture is a sketch made on about 5 layers of white encaustic, each layer fused together with heat from a blowtorch.
The second picture is my finished piece - Music is Magic.
