My studio is full of plants, stones, and other interesting materials that I've collected over years in places near and far. These are the raw materials that then get further dissected, combined, and suspended in in my sculptures and jewelry.
The Studio Tour is a great opportunity for me to connect with others around my work and process -- In the spirit of a child saying "look at this!," I love to share things that I find remarkable, rare, expressive, and possibly otherwise overlooked in nature. In my studio you'll find many found natural materials laid out, some as sketches of sorts for future pieces, as well as the end results of my creative process in jewelry and sculptural forms. I have many new works that I'm finishing this week and look forward to showing them. I hope you'll come say hello!
