I am self-taught and draw inspiration from the nature surrounding Ojai

Through abstract expressionism my paintings explore the interplay between our energy and that of the landscapes around us

I hope that painting en plein air helps to promote environmental conservation. I am currently on a quest to try to use my art expose the current threats to Lake Casitas (and our water) from uranium mining - and the dismantling of our national forests (including logging and mining in Los Padres) for short term profits
